Spiderwood Entertainment and Productions were born in California, while the offices were located at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. Spiderwood now has offices in The Woodlands,Tx. The Back-Lot / Studios are located right outside of Austin, Texas. Our other offices are also located in Santa Monica, Ca.

Spiderwood Studios is now developing phase I on approx. 200 acre site along the Colorado River and highway 969, with more than another 200 acres available. The site is approx. 25 minutes from downtown Austin . Grooming of the Back-Lot and the design for the Prop / Set , Productions / Composite (Green screen), and Sound Stage, are in progress with completion planned for 2008. Since the Austin area (and Texas in general) are producing more feature films, videos, commercials and documentaries, and since the Texas legislature passed "Film Incentives" with no State income tax, cinema productions will surely continue to grow in the future.
